This continues the agricultural portrait: every part of what the diligent person tends has purpose and value. Lambs provide wool; goats provide income and the means to acquire more land. The principle is that faithful stewardship of present resources becomes the basis for future provision and expansion. Nothing is wasted when it is wisely cared for.
