Proverbs 26:4

Proverbs 26:4

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

When a fool speaks nonsense, replying in kind — matching their tone, their logic, or their anger — drags you down to their level. The wise person recognises that some conversations will pull you into foolishness if you engage carelessly. Restraint is wisdom.

Memory phrase: Stay wise. Do not sink.

Talk about it: What happens when you argue like a fool?

Prayer: God, help me stay wise when others do not.
