Proverbs 25:16

Proverbs 25:16

Honey is sweet and good, but overindulgence turns it into something harmful. This is a universal wisdom principle: even genuinely good things must be taken in appropriate measure. Excess corrupts the good. This applies to food, pleasure, wealth, and every appetite.

Memory phrase: Good things need limits too.

Talk about it: Can you think of a good thing that becomes bad if you have too much of it?

Prayer: God, help me enjoy good things without taking too much.
