Proverbs 25:12

Proverbs 25:12

Correction has two parts: the one who reproves wisely, and the ear that receives it obediently. Both are required for the proverb to work. A wise word of correction that lands on a willing, humble heart is as beautiful and valuable as fine gold jewellery.

Memory phrase: Receive wise correction gladly.

Talk about it: When someone corrects you kindly, what is the wise way to respond?

Prayer: God, give me an ear that gladly receives wise correction.
