Proverbs 24:29

Revenge — the insistence on repaying hurt for hurt — is forbidden. The believer is commanded not to take personal justice into their own hands. This anticipates : 'Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.'

Memory phrase: Do not take revenge.

Talk about it: Why is it wrong to pay someone back when they have hurt you?

Prayer: God, help me not pay back wrong for wrong. You are the fair judge.
