Proverbs 24:1

Envy toward the wicked is dangerous — it pulls the heart toward what God hates. Solomon commands his son not only to avoid wicked people but to stop desiring their company or their apparent advantages.

Memory phrase: Do not envy evil.

Prayer: God, help me never wish I were like people who do wrong.
