Proverbs 23:33

Proverbs 23:33

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

The effects of drunkenness extend beyond physical harm — they corrupt perception and the inner life. The eyes see wrongly; the heart produces corrupted thoughts and words. What we feed our minds and senses shapes what we see and say. The degradation of the inner person is the deepest harm.

Memory phrase: Guard your eyes and heart.

Talk about it: Why is it important to guard what your eyes look at?

Prayer: God, guard my eyes and keep my heart from twisted thinking.
