Proverbs 23:24

Proverbs 23:24

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

This verse continues the parent-child joy theme from verses 15-16. A righteous and wise child is a source of the deepest parental joy. This frames the whole chapter's appeal: the father is not commanding out of power but appealing out of love, longing to rejoice over the child's flourishing.

Memory phrase: Wise children bring great joy.

Talk about it: What is the best gift you can give your parents — not bought, but lived?

Prayer: God, help me be a child who brings joy to my family.
