Proverbs 23:13

Proverbs 23:13

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

This verse is addressed to parents and teachers. It commands that correction not be withheld — the child will not be ruined by discipline, but by its absence. The rod is the instrument of loving, purposeful correction, not cruelty. Withholding correction is itself a form of harm.

Memory phrase: Correction helps children grow.

Talk about it: Why does being corrected actually help a child become better?

Prayer: God, help me receive correction and learn from it.
