Proverbs 23:4

Proverbs is not opposed to work or wealth, but to making wealth the goal of all effort. 'Cease from thine own wisdom' means: stop trusting your own understanding as the ultimate guide. True wisdom surrenders the pursuit of riches to God's priorities.
