Proverbs 20:10

Double standards in trade — using one measure when buying and a different one when selling — were common and condemned. God hates cheating. This extends beyond ancient markets: any time we apply different standards to benefit ourselves at another's expense, it is an offense to God's justice.

Memory phrase: God hates cheating.

Talk about it: What does it mean to be fair with everyone, not just your friends?

Prayer: God, help me be fair and honest in everything I do.
