Proverbs 19:20

Proverbs 19:20

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Wisdom is cumulative: the person who builds a lifetime habit of listening to counsel and receiving instruction arrives at old age with wisdom as their companion. The phrase 'latter end' is future-oriented — wisdom is an investment made now for a harvest later. No one becomes wise accidentally; it is the fruit of a sustained willingness to hear and receive.

Memory phrase: Listen to good counsel.

Talk about it: How does listening to good advice help you in the future?

Prayer: God, help me listen to good advice and grow wise.
