Proverbs 16:26

Proverbs 16:26

This is an observation about motivation: physical need is itself a driver of productive work. The desire for food compels the worker not to be idle. There is no shame in working for one's own needs — God built hunger into humans as a prompt to diligent labour.

Memory phrase: Work drives away hunger.

Talk about it: What motivates you to do the work that needs to be done?

Prayer: God, give me a heart that works hard.
