The value of speech is tied to the heart that produces it. Righteous words are genuinely precious — like silver that has been refined and purified.

Memory phrase: Righteous words are precious as silver.

Talk about it: If your words were worth money, would they be copper, silver, or gold? What would make them more valuable?

Prayer: God, purify my heart so that what comes out of my mouth is like precious, refined silver — valuable and good.
