Proverbs 7:9

The setting is deliberate: darkness represents the absence of wisdom's light. Dangerous choices are often made in 'dark' seasons — when we are not walking in God's light.

Memory phrase: Walk in God's light, not in darkness.

Talk about it: Why do people sometimes make worse choices when they are in the dark — when no one can see, or when they feel far from God?

Prayer: God, be a light to me in every dark and shadowy moment. Help me not make choices in the dark.
