John 18:4

Jesus was in complete control. He stepped toward the soldiers — not away from them. He asked the question; they did not surprise Him. He surrendered on His own terms.

Memory phrase: Jesus stepped forward, unafraid.

Talk about it: Jesus knew what was coming but still stepped out. What does that tell you about His courage?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You faced danger without flinching. When I am afraid, help me step forward trusting You.
