Martha's confession here is one of the greatest statements of faith in all the Gospels — equal to Peter's great confession. In her darkest hour, she declared who Jesus truly is.

Memory phrase: Yes, Lord — I believe!

Talk about it: Martha said 'yes' to Jesus even in her sadness. When is it hardest to say yes to Jesus?
