John 6:20

John 6:20

'It is I' (Greek: ego eimi) is the divine name — 'I AM.' Jesus is telling them and us: God Himself has come. With God present, fear has no place.

Memory phrase: It is I — do not be afraid!

Talk about it: What is something you are afraid of? What would you feel if Jesus said, 'Do not be afraid' right to you?

Prayer: Jesus, when I am afraid, let me hear Your voice saying, 'It is I — do not be afraid.'
