John 5:21

Jesus claims the power of resurrection — the ability to give life. This is one of the most exclusive divine attributes, and Jesus says He shares it fully. 'Quickeneth' means 'makes alive.'

Memory phrase: The Son gives life to all He chooses.

Talk about it: Only God has the power to raise the dead. What does it mean that Jesus has that same power?

Prayer: Jesus, You have the power to give life. Give life to everything inside me that feels dead.
