John 5:11

The healed man points straight back to his healer. He is simply obeying the one who healed him. His answer is perfectly logical — the one with power to heal has authority to give instructions.

Memory phrase: I'm obeying the one who healed me.

Talk about it: The man said he was just doing what the person who healed him told him. Is that a good answer? Why or why not?

Prayer: Jesus, when I obey You, help me to do it confidently — knowing You have the authority to tell me what to do.
