Welcome, but on the basis of miracles — not deep faith. The narrator subtly notes this. Signs can attract crowds without producing true disciples.

Memory phrase: Not all welcome is deep faith.

Talk about it: The Galileans welcomed Jesus because of the miracles they had seen. Is that a good reason? What kind of welcome does Jesus really want?

Prayer: Jesus, I do not want to just admire Your miracles — I want to truly know and follow You.
