Again He spoke spiritually to those thinking physically. His 'food' was doing His Father's will — which He had just done with the Samaritan woman.

Memory phrase: Doing God's will is food for the soul.

Talk about it: Jesus said He had food nobody knew about. What do you think He meant?

Prayer: Jesus, fill me with the hunger to do God's will — and let that be my deepest satisfaction.
