John 4:23

John 4:23

This is one of the most revolutionary statements about worship in Scripture. God does not want location-worship or ritual-worship; He seeks heart-worship — in spirit (genuine, Spirit-led) and in truth (according to who He really is).

Memory phrase: God seeks worshippers in spirit and truth.

Talk about it: God is looking for worshippers. That means He wants you! What kind of worshipper do you want to be?

Prayer: Father, I want to be the kind of worshipper You are looking for. Help me to worship You truly from my heart.
