John 4:7

Jesus initiated. He crossed barriers — Jew to Samaritan, man to woman — and began with a simple, genuine request. He asked her for something. That was radical.

Memory phrase: Jesus reached out first.

Talk about it: Jesus asked the woman for a drink. Why was that such a surprising and kind thing to do?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You that You always reach out first — to me, and to everyone who feels alone.
