Spiritual birth — being born again — does not come from human ancestry, effort, or decision alone. It is a gift of God, sovereign and divine.

Memory phrase: Born of God — not of people.

Talk about it: You cannot choose your family you are born into. But you CAN choose to receive Jesus. What is special about that?

Prayer: God, thank You that being Your child is Your gift to me. I did not earn it. You gave it.
