Darkness — sin, evil, unbelief — cannot overcome or extinguish Jesus. His light is stronger. Yet many did not receive or recognise it.

Memory phrase: The light shines in darkness.

Talk about it: Have you ever been somewhere really dark? What happened when someone turned on even a tiny light?

Prayer: Jesus, when things feel dark and scary, remind me that Your light is shining and nothing can put it out.
