, The nature and glory of the church; , The increase, honour, and comfort of the members thereof. It is highly probable that this Psalm was written by one of the descendants of Korah on the return from the Babylonian captivity.

It seems to have been written in praise of Jerusalem; and, typically, of the Christian church.
