Hazor: Or, rather, Hazar-hadattah, or, as the LXX, Alexandrian, and Vulgate render Ασωρ η καινη:, Asor nova:, "New Hazor," to distinguish it from the preceding (), and following Hazor. Eusebius and Jerome say it was a village in their time, on the eastern confines of Askelon.

Kerioth: Or, rather, Kerioth-Hezron: LXX αι πολεις: (Alex. πολις:) Ασερων:, "the cities (city) of Hezron."
