Shall inherit Judah. The Lord, though it is true that many other nations shall be converted, shall take Judah (i.e. the whole Jewish nation) as his portion, in accordance with . In the holy land.

This expression is not found elsewhere applied to Judaea, nor is it to be confined to that nation here. Every land is holy where the Lord dwells. The conversion of the heathen should emanate from Judaea (), and spread through all the world, and thus the earth should be holy ground.

Shah choose Jerusalem again; Revised Version, "shall yet choose Jerusalem" (comp. ). This points to Christ as King of the spiritual Zion.
