Ezekiel 27:4

In the midst of the seas; literally, in the heart (Revised Version). The words were true of the island-city, but Ezekiel has already present to his thoughts the idealized picture of the city under the figure of its stateliest ship.

The builders are ship-builders, and in the verses that follow we have a picture of the Bucentaur of the Venice of the ancient world.
