Though his excellency mount up to the heavens. "Though he reach," i.e; "the highest pitch of prosperity" (comp. Psalms 73:9). And his head reach unto the clouds (comp. Daniel 4:22, "Thou, O king, art grown and become strong: and thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven").
